The Kennetrek boots you spoke of are on camofire right now Tim and whom ever else was talking about them. Wish I had the means to afford a pair of them.

careful with sizing because they run different than most boots.....for me I usually need a size 11 but needed 12 wide in kennetrecks

My bad here but what is "camofire"?

I have the 13" Cowboy Tracker Pac boots and they are awesome! I too had to go up a size from normal size 11 to the 12's and they are great to ride and walk in. Over the Christmas holiday I spent four days in the saddle and six days hunting - the feet were great. They are my go to boot for pheasants and deer along with the daily chores. Well worth the cost IMHO.

go to camofire.com    there are always deals on there, usually 3-5 items per day... I consider it the devil, because for some reason my account always seems to go empty after I see what they have on sale

Heck, I have a pair of Kennys and I almost "Pulled the trigger".  That site would be addicting.

I wear a size 12 in both brands and they seem to be comparable in size.

LOL. Sorry, I love that site. I look at it everyday. I have yet to pull the trigger on anything but there can be some awesome deals on there. It is just a matter of time before there is something that i cannot live without.

I get the daily email but rarely even look at the site because I know what will happen.  I've wanted a pair of kenny's for a while though and it just so happens my boots are wearing out.  I just couldn't pass on it.  Good price for them though.

Kennetrek web site lists them at $280 by the way, vs CamoFire's claim of $339.99 retail price.

I've noticed Camofire's claims of retail are often "if you bought them at the Safari Club for rich people" prices.
