A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion: There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin .. Allow me to restate that number. Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the eighth largest army in the world. More men under arms than in Iran . More than in France and Germany combined. These men deployed to the woods of a single American state to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed. That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan 's 700,000 hunters, All of whom have now returned home. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that The hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. The point? America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower. Hunting -- it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security. *********************************************** That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. bontop2 Joined: 11/19/2005 Location: ND	I have though about what would happen if a country was to invade us. I feel sorry for the ones stupid enough to try good ol North Dakota! Every person I know has not only one but multiple firearms! I alone think I have enough weapons and ammo to hold em off for quite a while!

sweeney Joined: 03/07/2002 Location: ND	yeah to bad i have to pay an arm and a leg to secure/own fully auto-weapons, and if i use my know how to alter any of my semi-auto weapons i go to jail for a long time. I also need a permit to carry my pistol concealed, where nobody but myself would ever know i am carrying...hopefully.

gonefshn Joined: 12/16/2001 Location: ND	And the past few weeks the worlds largest army commandeered a few of my friends, my pickup, and all the ammo Walmart would let us get in it's quest to rid the country of the wily pesty country road destroying muskrat!!!

espringers Joined: 07/25/2007 Location: ND	lol... me too gone. on brick number 3 or 4 of .22 shells already this spring and probably have around 200 confirmed kills. will have to admit tho... they ain't all one shot, one kill like our professional military is capable of. and its all done for the sake of saving the roads and none of it is done for the sake of simple entertainment...
