Who knows. The only team in the current NFC playoff picture they haven't played is the niners

Saints look tough tonight . . . the only reason I would still pick the Pack over them is homefield advantage

The saints have looked good since week four. I hope to see a packer and saints matchup. After the bears put up 450 yards which also included two gimmie picks I am starting to wonder. Will be one heck of a matchup.

I don't think the Packers will make it.  I think they've peaked and are on the down slide a little.  Last year they peaked at the perfect time.

It looks like they expect to be a little healthier on the OL in the playoffs. Looks like they expect to have Bulaga and Clifton back by then, but who knows. I think the OL played pretty well last night. The Saints and the Pack would be a great matchup from Lambeau field in the NFC championship game. Two offenses like that would make for a GREAT game and I would not count either team out, maybe a slight edge to the Pack outdoors?GO PACK GO

Im sure glad the Pack wont be playing in NO. The saints looked almost unbeatable tonight. Anything can happen in the playoffs.  Wonder who GB will end up playing ? any predictions?

AFC will win the Superbowl. Run first and then stop the run. Time tested theory.

One step at a time...Be careful.

There is one team and one team only that comes to mind in matching your criteria exactly.  And that team is overwhelming San Francisco.

The question is, can San Fran keep pace IF the game becomes a scoring match.  You look at the Bear and Packer game I believe the Bears had over 30 minutes of possession (I think toward 40).  They ran down the field but their fourth stringer QB threw two INTs and we missed a field goal once we got into scoring position.  Their defense which has played well enough of late let Rodgers throw quick slants all night long.  Pathetic if you ask me ESPECIALLY down on the goal line.  HIT THEM!!!!!!  And the Nelson TD...awesome safety play by Wright.  Oh my.  Ha ha, anyway, I am a bit sour and I don't even know why!  Cutler being out the Bears are completely different.  Unbelievable.

So yeah, back on topic,  I do not see San Francisco going without points but they cannot rely heavily on the game plan of David Akers kicking them field goals to win.  They will have to score a TD or two or three to stay in stride with the Saints or Packers and that will require their defense to play well with no big play mistakes.

Same will go with any AFC team out there.  However, the Patriots can handle a scoring matchup.  So if I had to give anyone the edge it would be the Patriots over the NFC.  Other than that, I can't see it but I learned a few years back that once the playoffs start it is very, very difficult to even guess.  The regular season is tough enough to guess.

Home field advantage at Lambeau could also be the Packers down fall if the cold winds are blowing. As I've said before on other threads, the Packers live and die with their verticle passing game, and nothing takes away that down field passing game faster than a cold blustery wind.

If the Pack plays NO with that type of wind......the Saints running game and their defense will make all the difference. Even if the the weather is nice, I don't think the Packers win a shoot out with NO. That team is just hitting its peek, and the Pack is sliding a bit.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure about that!

the Roar has been restored....when the Motor City kitties are firing on all cylinders they look pretty good...there defense is has down better then the Pack and Saints and there passing attack is better than SF...the Lions know the Pack and aren’t afraid of playing in GB...they may be a surprise team....

I also wouldn't discount the Ravens in the AFC if their defense holds...their built to beat the Pats....

Without Shaub and Andre Johnson the are probably gonna come up short against the afc mainstays....ie the Pats,Ravens,Steelers, but without those injuries coulda been a lot more dangerous.

As for the wind causing the Pack problems their offense is not strictly a vertical passing game. They use short slant passes and screen plays to open up that vertical ariel assault, and very few defenses can go man to man against the Pack when they go 4 or 5 wide. If the Saints would try to use all those Rbs to run the football and play keep away from Rodgers that could defenitly cause the Pack problems but Sean Payton has shown again and again he believes in his passing attack and spread offense and wants to get in track meets with teams....not trying to be a smart alleck but how did that turn out in their first meeting. In the playoffs anything can happen on any given weekend, so I would never foolishly guarantee a win but I expect that if those 2 teams meet on a brisk january day in lambeau for it to be the Nfl's dream game.

Making it all the way to the SB is a big deal and hard fought accomplishment. The name of this thread. "Will GB even make it to the SB" is kind of funny. They have done what is needed up till now. The rest is history yet to be made one way or the other.
