Sure, I can help.

From Land, you access it from Lake Sakakwea Sate Park.

From water, it is roughly 1/4-1/2 miles north of the Intake Structure on Lake Sak.

If you go to GoogleEarth and find the Garrison Dam Powerhouse.  On the lake side, find the Intake structure and go north until you see the first large bay.  That is Rodeo Bay.
Take a kid hunting instead of hunting for your kid.

First I am a Dad, then a husband, then a hunter.  Sometimes I get the husband and hunter mixed up, but luckily my wife remembers what order they should be in. :-)

Intro, I think there is a boat ramp on the southeast corner of the state park that goes into Rodeo Bay. At least there used to be a ramp.

Isn't it between the intake and Scoria Bay?

I think Rodeo and Scoria Bay are the same place. The ramp in the park is called "Rodeo Bay" ramp.

Scoria and Rodeo aren't the same. Rodeo is between Scoria (where the boat ramp is) and the intake. I was up there yesterday and not much of an accessable bay anymore! Lots of trees grew while the water was low and now the bay is full of them, we could only skirt the mouth of it.
The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard

I was up there yesterday, trying for salmon. I had one hit and miss, then snow came and I left. I am going to try it again next weekend.

Probably right??

Just kiddin, that's what I've always known it to be.

Caught 3, lost 4, and had a couple bites. Caught 4 small northerns as well.

Wind and cold got the better of us so we got off the water.
