The Opel was not as flat looking as this car. It has a higher top, and a longer front end and smaller rear.So im 99% sure its not an Opel. Ill have to look at some photos online though.

It's not an OPEL GT for sure. I'm leaning towards a FORD PANTERA. I can't see the front , Pantera's had hide away head lights. A Pantera would be a rare find in a junk jard.

That is definitely not a Ford Pantera.  The rear-end is way wrong.  Nor is it a GT, not even close.  It could be a kit car of some kind but I don't think it's a Coyote.  I wish I could see either the front or rear clip a little better.  Headlights and taillights would be nice.

"IF" this is a Ford GT.... the way that car sits right now... its worth a SHI* ton of money . So im highly doubting its a Ford GT, someone would have come and snatched that thing up a long time ago if it was a GT.

Mod 1220.... this car is not that far off of a GT.... you say its "not even close"..... its very close and has a good resemblence to it

Still not even close.  The artist rendering you post just reaffirms my opinion that it's NOT a GT.  Look at the roof line compared to the posted picture.  Go to Google images and look up the '67 GT and find me one that looks anything like the picture posted.

I personally don't think it looks anything like a GT.  I've actually had the privilege to drive and ride in several different GT's in my life.

I also have driven this car ( an actual production GT)  in Las Vegas at a closed track ( yeah it cost me $500, it was worth it :)  ).   Also, you said to look up 1967 Ford GT and look under images on google. I did that, and there are probably 12-15 pictures that look VERY SIMILAR to this car. Personally, I do not think its a GT either, there are some differences, but its much closer than you think. The body lines are very similar and flow close to the same angles as the picture in this thread, and the ones on googles images.

That could be the winner right there.  As I've looked on the net, there are more than one production body style of the remade GT's (kits).   Sweet looking rides and very similar to production ones..  You can see on this "new era GT" where the front fenders make a peak, which is also similar to what the factory ones had. Most factory ones did not have the trunk (some called it the hood) in the back where the lip came upwards like on the MK II. Good find rugerruser.
