Waubay Lake - Saturday, March 15, 2008

sirduckhead buzz1 is right. hildebrandts is on the north side of the road heading back to the headquarters and spring lake is on the south side. these both connect to waubay. both have bouys marking the edges in the summer not sure about in the winter i imagine they are still there just sticking through the ice? if you want to fish either one NO MOTORIZED VECHILES are allowed so pack it in light. i have never tried to get there from the lake but i would think it possible just find the border park and walk in. hints to finding it from the lake just follow the east shoreline from buckshot would probably be the closest follow the shore to the left you should eventually find it from grenville public access east across lake then search for markers. only been there once around new years so have no idea about the ice conditions so becareful i am coming out easter weekend to give it a try. so keep me posted on the ice conditions.thanks to every body who tries it this weekend good luck keep the reports coming.
