Canada geese are everywhere from Riverdale to Coleharbor, but they're educated! we had geese flying over us non stop from sunrise to 2pm. I've never seen geese flare to our decoys like they did today. we couldn't get it figured out before we quit, so ended up a few short of our limit but still a blast with non stop action.

went goose hunting yesterday by botno to over by renville corner. lot of geese in the air but only a couple of flocks here an there landed. dont really knw where the good huntin is. any info greatly appreciated

for those of you chasing the spring snows, this is for you. since monday the snow geese have invaded the northern edge of the state. EN MASS. if calculations are what they should be give or take a few thousand birds my estimation is a couple million snows are in the air or on the ground between the minot air base and Noonan. I set my watch, counted a hundred birds passing my rig and watched for 20 min as they flew by without a break. This lasted for 6 hours with less than 10 min between flocks. It was this way for the last 3 days as the rig sits at Mohal and the geese travel west nw. access around lignite is good for public hunting if you feel up to a trip. Have fun

Several thousand snows over Minot today..........give them a week and they will all be through the state........another year for the big flyover.......

Was down by Clark SD seen about 50 snows flying South. Still a lot of snow down in that area. By the middle of the week the temp will be in the 40s to 50s down there so they might move up a little.
