Curious to know what the water clarity is like on the river around the Wilton or Washburn area?  Its terrible around Bismarck and was thinking of maybe heading a little further north in search of clearer water for the weekend.  Thanks fellers.

Is the dock in at Steckel?

You can't aim a duck to death.

Drove past Washburn on Tuesday and the courtesy dock was out of the water.

While I have not been up that way to verify water clarity, the Knife River is the one flowing high right now.  I would expect that in order to find some decent water clarity you would have to go above the confluence of the Knife and the Missouri.

We are probably 5 days away from seeing a major improvement in water clarity in the Bismarck area based on the Knife.

Dock is not in at Steckel, and the water clarity is bad.  The Knife was still rising  and with this new moisture, who knows?  It will probably take a good ten days to flush it out and clear things up.
