Devils Lake fight involves stabbings, whippings

DEVILS LAKE (AP) - Two men are charged and a charge is pending against a woman in a Christmas Eve fight in Devils Lake that authorities say involved stabbings, whippings and BB gunshots.

Authorities said the incident began when the woman extinguished a cigarette on a man's cheek. The man then allegedly shot the woman's boyfriend in the face and chest with the BB gun and stabbed him with a knife, puncturing his lung. The woman then allegedly hit the first man in the head repeatedly with the gun, stabbed him in the back with a nail and whipped him on the back with a chain.

The woman's boyfriend was treated at hospitals in Devils Lake and Grand Forks, and the other man was treated at a Cando hospital

I have worked in the oil field for the last seven years and the percentage of them that I didnt care for is very small.

I'm a woman in the oilfield, but I dont think I would have gone to that extent.... and I carry something a little bigger than a BB gun if anyone wants to stir up problems. haha

We have a few members in our local I'd love to send to Missouri, I bet there are some good hands in the 21 IBEW locals you have that could replace them. Send a bus load up, we'll meet them at the border and sort thru them and send back the ones we don't want here along with the trash we've rounded up.
