Thanks, I was very very disappointed, but that was the week where things were slow for numbers of "good fish". Also, we didn't have much of a time frame, as I had to pick up my daughter from daycare by 12pm.

I'm also looking forward to our video shoot in May/June.

Fishing is tough sometimes.  I would like to take my wife over there next spring and then we can video and show the monster cats.  We know you can bring in the monsters, the video was just shot at the wrong time of year.  Your explanation of things and techniques were very very good.

Do you do any ice fishing guiding?

Yeah, I was really disappointed, but that was the week where it was bad for numbers of "good fish". I also didn't have much time that day, I think we were on the water for 2 hours, I had to pick my daughter up from day care. I'm really looking forward to our video shoot in May/June.

Oh, there it is, it didn't show my post before. Woops!

I will be guiding this winter, yes. It's really fun to fish the Red on the ice. I can still connect with good size fish (over 5 pounds, walleyes) and the goldeye, sauger, and pike are always fun, keeping things busy.

But, I will be taking people on other bodies of water also this ice fishing season. I don't think I'll be offering a spearing trip, I haven't completed my 3 shacks, and I just don't have the time or $$$ to do so this year!
