Photo Description:
My landlords brother dug this huge rock out of his field awhile back and the skidded it up against a belt. He finally did something with it before us locals did. I can't make out the name of the lady who painted it, she deserves a lot of credit too. I'm not sure if she's done yet. I saw her out there on Sunday working on it. Cool new landmark.

West of Forest River along county road 8. Just north of the Grand Forks/Walsh county line.

I love that!!  Patriotism seems to have lost importance in many of out kids these days.  I grew up respecting our country, the flag and the people that serve.  Thanks for posting!

Just talked to the guy who owns it. The gal that painted it is from Park River. I won't post her name out of respect for her privacy. I'm sure someone will tell her work is on display on fb.
