Excellent yote cartridge especially for bucking these ND winds.  My dad shoots it and it will damage a pelt if you're not using the right bullets.  My personal favorites are the .243 WSSM and 22-250 Rem.

twice as good as a 22-250  can get 3600 plus and better in the wind.  22-250 is good but not as good in the wind as the 25-06

I'm shooting 75s out of mine. 24" barrel I'm getting 3650 at the muzzle with 59 grains of superformance powder. With R17 I got 3710, and with 4007SSC I got 3550.

So yep....cooking to say the least!

Great coyote gun. I'm a little worried of what a 75 grain V-max will do to a coyote (if you don't worry about this then no problem) so I'm going to try some 87 grain Speers.

The Bergers are more than what I want spend to shoot coytoes, and the speers shot great out of my Dad's 25.

25 calibers are awesome in wind, great long range capabilities and the recoil is usually pretty mild.

Go for it! One of the best all around hunting cartridges out there in my opinion.

I think it would work fine. I shoot a .243 never any .25 cals but i think it will work fine.
If everyone focused on the important things in life the world would have a shortage of fishing poles.

Ditto on the .243.  I loaded some 70 grain Nosler ballistic tips with 40 grains of Varget powder.    Too bad there's going to be 40 mph winds on Saturday.
