Anyone make a home made cab system for their prowler, ranger, rhino, mule etc?

I have the soft top and half windshield on my prowler and looking to upgrade but just dont know if I can justify spending $1500+ on it. I for sure want a windshield, hard top and rear cover with a smaller window. Polycarbonate 1/4" I have priced out and thats much more durable than plexi for around $150 for the windshield and I was thinking of making the rear and top with 3/4" green treated plywood and putting heavy black oil based paint on it to make it look nice and weather proof. Selt tapping screws to mount.

Not much for the soft enclosures as I know thats a cheaper alternative. Thoughts? Ideas? Pictures?

How about using truck bed liner instead of paint? It would be durable and weather proof. You could probably get away with using some formed sheet metal then. Car builders have been using bed liner as a sound barrier for years. Find a body man with access to a metal brake or roller and they could make it look pretty sweet as well.
