My name is Sara, and yes, I am the lucky wife of Jig-em-up-Josh.... and yes, I do let him go fishing whenever he wants, so if he ever says "My wife wont let me go fishing" he's lying....
I never fished a day in my life before I met Mr. Jig-em-up. I was your average city girl, who never wanted to get dirty, would never think about getting fish guts on my hands, and spending 15 min to reel in a huge catfish seemed like a waste of time, but the first time he took me ice fishing, we caught 8 walleye... i thought there were 9, but I miscounted, and believe you me, I won't hear the end of that from Mr. Jig-em-up. Mr. Jig-em-up has changed me from a city girl, who never fished a day in her life, into a country loving, fishing queen, push button rod, gotta love fishing woman.
We have a beautiful baby daughter named Nola, and she was born in December 2009, and it is a life changing event. I thought having buster , our shorthair, was a challange, not even close. We live by the Red, so that makes it easy for Mr. Jig-em-up to go fishing, and I like knowing he is close by, just in case. I like to go catfishing in our boat on the Red in the summer time, and go bass fishing at Maple Lake, and wherever else Mr. Jig-em-up goes, I am usually with!
