Any walleyes left in there? Last winter wasn't that great either I heard.. Love the northern fights and things, but seems as though they eventually take over the good lakes.

went out and got 12 northern between 4 of us, kept 9, but 2 got off the stringer so we kept 7, with my 36 incher topping them out, got it on a plain fathead of a plain hook on the bottom at the north end of the lake. all fish were fat and very thick. no walleye, but that was no setback, and it was minnesota walleye opener too.
 all the other northern came on white jigs. |

Fished from shore on twin for a while this morning and caught 5 northerns but only kept 3. I caught them all on rattletraps.

Hey! For those fishermen that like to have fun catching northerns,this is the place! casted out 5 times and caught 3 good sized northerns. two were 26 inches and the last one was 28 inches. well, time to get the smoker going! Have fun!

was by twin yesterday most of the north half of the lake was open, south end was froze over down by meyer road

We fished 3 different areas on the central and southern part of the lake we landed 11 Northerns in the 15-23 inch range. They bit on daredevls. We used black/white and red/white and the they seemed to like black/white better.

Lake is not accessable without a snowmobile. The road is blocked off.
