Tree stand adventure???

Drove out to some WMA to put up a tree stand and maybe a camera,had not been in the area for about 3 1/2 months.It was wet them,but i thought i could have a least drove alot closer to the WMA than i did last time.This is sandy soil,but we must of had some strong winds over the summer!!Had to walk about a 1/4 mile to get to the  WMA then another 1/4 or longer to get to my spot i wanted to hunt.These pictures are of the road going to the WMA,people were driving on last fall.

   there is a road here,at least last year you could drive thu here,now cattails and ducks!!

  This water is not going to drop very fast with the water table so high and until the Mouse river gets back in it banks and drops some more.When i 'd 'back out i got stuck in sandy spot in the road had to lock it in.There were lots more trees blown over the road that i did not take picutres of.On thing about all this mess is not many people will be bow hunting it this year

did you make it out with all of the blood or did the misquitoes get their share.

Haha, better be careful. Those pesky game and fish boys might take it down and keep it for themselves.

My stand was not put up,but laying on the ground from last year so???WTF???Its in a spot they cant drive thier 4x4 and they might have to walk  so its no big deal!!

Murdock, the hunting will rock for you. Think funnels, with so much water there will be very obvious funnels created. Good luck this year, just got back from Sturgis and going right back to scout for elk.

I remembered you complaining when one of your stands was taken that was left out on a WMA outside the allowable time. Thought maybe you did not know you were early but it is now obvious you do not care.

It's not that bad.

Dont know about the dogs being allowed,cant believe it took this long for somebody to ask about it???Mine never left the section line roadbut there was times i could not see them so who knows??

That stand was hanging in a tree that she took and to be honest i did not know i was early this year-only by 6 days=my mistakeBut the stand is laying on the ground.It also has my name and telephone number on it@
