Top Shot debacle....

Why did George throw the competition? Was it intentional? Who should be the Top Shot? I would rather have seen him win the competition and give the money to Chris....

what happened fill me in.  I watched about half the season and got busy and havent been able to keep up.

I think he missed the close pistol shot on purpose and than he just actually missed with the sharps. He was good, but he was a pretty big douche bag up until the final episode last night.

 Yeah, he was a jerk for most of the show (at least that's how the show "edited" him to look).  He actually earned a lot of respect from me for what he did.  He would have gotten beat by either of the guys remaining had he made it to the finals anyway.

Yeah, it might have just been the way they edited his comments, but he seemed to talk alot of crap about jaime for no reason, or just because he was a Navy guy. The guy I wanted to see win it the most was joe.

It appeared as if he tanked the pistol shot at 25 feet.

I was glad Chris won.  Good ending to a good season.

I think it's an enjoyable show and look forward to next season.

Yeah. I was hoping they would have changed it up a bit more.

Brain pretty much blew it last night. He had a really really sad showing with the 10/22 last night. I couldnt believe how he could miss that much. For a second there, I thought the whole thing was set up. To be honest, the only shot that really even looked remotely challenging to me was when they were dropping from the crane.

my biggest gripe is that the challenges are for "looks" not a real test of skill.

i did think the trap shoot was entertaining and a test of skill but as a firearms enthusiast i find a lot of the challenges are pretty boring.

what do you guys think would be both visually entertaining and challenging? that is what i think the show needs more of, but i also think the filming of a bench rest challenge or 3D shoot would be pretty boring to people that are not "like us"

Have a fast draw competition with paintball guns.

Personally, I think he was probably a genuine enough person that he laid down a couple of big egos. Being that they were "tight" teammates; though, wouldn't be suprised if some form of "split" wasn't worked out ahead of time. That being said; after watching the whole season, the last episode turned me off to the point I am not sure if I will tune in next year. The slo-mo graphics are fantastic; yet it wasn't a "true reality show", which it could have been. More archery and scattergunning in the future. Guess it beats the hell out of Ice Road Truckers.

i only got to watch it once and never had it on the dvr.  but, this guy isn't so sure he missed that pistol shot on purpose.  seemed to me like he pulled a light trigger before he wanted to.  in the end, if i had to pick from those three, i'd have rather seen brian win the thing.  and i was completely put off by the way they treated guys like jamie and jay.  jamie especially... poor dude ended up in elimination 4 or 5 times... and i can only think of one time he deserved to be there.  i agree w/ swanson and hen... give me a reality show w/ a spotlight, truck, case of beer, an AR, a hundred miles of gravel, tally up the muskrats at the end of the night... and you've got urself a show!

I thought it was rediculous that once they went into the individual competitions that they voted people into the elimination.  In my mind the worst two performers should've gone.
