Tool Box

I have a tool problem in that they are scattered about here and there and everywhere.  They all came in a box/carrier once, some are still in those boxes/carriers, others are not.  I need a tool box.

Had this in mind:

This is even better.  Cost more but by golly, it has a fridge built in!!!  They have this at the Bismarck Lowes for around $1800 and I can't seem to be able to talk my wife into it.

There's a full-size fridge in my shop, no need for it in my tool box.  I'm not much for fluff, just function.

Kobalt is made in China, Craftsman is made in the USA which is why I'm looking at Craftsman.

Better check that Craftsman again.  I'm not certain they're made in the USA anymore.  They're not the quality that they used to be.  I own a lot of Kobalt tools and have not had any issues with them except for a 25' magnetic tape measure I had.  The magnets came out and with Kobalt's "NO HASSLE" guarantee, Lowe's replaced it with a 30' magnetic tape, no questions asked.

I would bet 10 to 1 that the Kobalt tool box is just as functional and reliable as the Craftsman box you posted.  I'm just not sold on Craftsman anymore since you can buy them @ KMart now.

You're right, Taiwan.  I put casters on the tool box and two big metal cabinets today.  I hate casters!!  No way to work around them with a power tool or even a damned socket!

Kobalt is made by Snap-on for Lowes.
