He must still be recovering from the realization that his life is now over ;-}

T-fish are biting not far from home, we need to get out together and catch some of those hungry eyes! I will call you later this week.

Tony, sent you an email from my neo account. Replied to your message.  Would you let me know if you get it?

Yeah, I sent the email this moring and haven't gotten aything back yet.  Thing that is frustrating is 4 days later I get an undeliverable message.  By that time I forgot what I wrote to the person.  Oh well, I'll be going on a carp shooting excursion here the next couple of days, so that will keep me busy.  Let me know if you get anything working.  I did recieve your email, just can't respond to you.  Will try later in the week.

Hey gregg,you get any big suckers down there? Seen a show on "carp shooting" near the Wynot landing,I think they were shooting siler carp? Anyway as they moved along when the fish spooked they would jump out of the water in every direction.Ever seen this or do ya shoot'em below a dam?

Silver carp?  Or jumping carp?  Not sure what they are really supposed to be called, I've seen them but not shot them.  I shoot bigheads, buffalo, and common, and grass.  Try for the bigheads, if I can't get them I shoot buffs.  Shoot commons just to get rid of them.  Went up to the dam yesterday and shot some.  The paddles where everywhere.  Would be easy if archery paddy season was now.  It is a blast .  I go near Wynot and below the dam.  Great shooting both places.  I'll post  a pic I have of the buffs and commons I got.  Probably will try here again this weekend as long as the wind is down.   It is a great time.  Just troll up on them and start shooting.  The bigger ones we get are 20-30lbs.  I love it.  For some reason they have a rule you can't shoot with a light out of a boat for carp.  Doesn't make sense but it has something to do with hunting from a vehicle with artificial light.

Yeah bigheads are there.  Had a shot at a couple, once I just missed and the other the string broke.  I use an 808 reel and every once in a great while I'll click it and then it will lock.  I used to forget to release it but now I don't know if I bump the crank every once in a while but I'll lose an arrow every so often.  String gets caught up somewhere.  I had my chances at some bigheads but they were far and few  and they were gone as fast as you seen em.  The ones I got will be excellent eating here in a few weeks though.

eat'em? Yuck! that would be like eating a crow...

I use the "Quick" retrieve bottle,200lb test line(non-mono) has a break which is handy for big fish making a run,very sweeeet unit.

What do ya use for your arrows and points? Anything special?We stick some monster's up here and it takes a special setup,plus alot of our shots are in deeper water 4-5ft.

Of course we eat them!  They are excellent.  I buy cheap line, arrows and points from an archery shop or one of the bait shops.  They seem to work well, don't lose too many and when I do lose an arrow I'm not shedding tears like I do with my hunting arrows.

Oh forgot to mention, the carp taste like beans, sweet corn, cabbage, lettuce, jalepenos, cucumbers, carrots, beats, believe that is all.  Just have to let them lay for a few weeks.
