Went out yesterday morning from 7:00am till about 10:30 got a limit of eater walleys and tossed back three small northerns. Fished in about 10 FOW most of the fish hit on the dead stick but got a couple using the vex and jigging with a minnow head.

went out to sweet briar for the first time this evening. I got out there about 3. I used my gps to find a flat that I thought was about 12 feet. So I drilled a couple holes and set up the house. I put the vex down and it was actually 4 feet. I dropped a kastmaster down without bait just to see if my vex was playing tricks on me and I caught a northern in seriously 2 seconds.
So I stayed at the 4 foot water level. I kept 8 perch and 3 pike for the pickle jar. I stayed until sunset hoping for some marble eyes but no such luck. |

Went out yesterday caught 2 walleye keepers, 15 northern, and 1 mini perch. morning bite is best slows down in afternoon and picks back up aroun 4:30-5:30

Went out this afternoon from about 12:30-4. Fished in about 10 ft of water. Brought up 3 small northerns and one keeper perch.

had decent luck yesterday. fished in about 10ft of water. started fishing about 2 and from then till about 5:15 caught 10 small eyes 2 perch and 5 pike, missed about 10 other bites. after that until about 6:30 nothing.

went out in the evening for a while. used glowing jigs and wax worms and tipups with minnows and got nothing. and yes the east side is open

Went out on the 23rd and 24th and had some ok luck. Brought 2 northerns up to the hole on jigs on thursday but couldnt get them out of the hole before they jumped off. Friday finally got one northern out the hole. Bout 18" long on a jig.

went out last saturday fished by the east dock off the point nothing all morning several other houses by us seemed to be having better luck then my buddy showed up with his sled and we moved closer to the boat ramp dropped in and had one little slimer right away stayed till about 4 had one more little slimer and a couple hits road access is good bout 16 inches of ice not to much snow on the ice gonna borrow my friends vexilar and try it again on sunday. anybody had any luck on the west side ?

just wondering how much snow is on the ice, is it easy getting around? how are the roads, i only have a car to get out there and how much ice?

The creek is pretty much completely dry by the bridge. only fished by the east dock so not sure about where the creek enters the lake.

anybody been out lately ? if so how thick is the ice and what is the bite like ? is the lake to low to go back in the creek ?

Went out on the 15th, lot of small eyes and northerns. I caught one 2 lbs walleye. graphed fish not many bites.
