Couldn't find the original thread on this, it was probably deleted since it turned into a bashing session. Glad to hear they have a suspect in custoday. The victim was a veteran, I would classify him as an Iraqi War hero and based on his current employment an important advocate for Tribal Employment Rights. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

NEW TOWN Three Affiliated Tribes' police have arrested one man in connection with the death of a Halliday man at New Town.

Jeremiah Sage, 30, of Halliday, died July 20.

Mervin Packineau, Parshall/Little Shell representative to the tribal business council and chairman of the Judicial Committee, said the man was arrested and is being held in connection with the incident. The man is not being identified at this time.

Kyle Lovan, FBI spokesman with the FBI Minneapolis Division, said Sage's death is pending investigation. He said the incident occurred in the New Town area.

Further details about the incident were not available.

Sage, a former Marine who served two tours of duty in Iraq and took part in the 2003 search and rescue of Pvt. 1st Class Jessica Lynch, currently was a compliance officer with the Three Affiliated Tribes' Tribal Employment Rights Office.

Sounds like Hicks claimed he was sexually harrassed by Sage... Who knows. The details will come out sooner or later.

Hicks may be crying wolf...

Sounds a little shaky. If there was a pickup coming after me I think jumping on the running board would be pretty low on the list of things to do.

Everybody wants to be Hank Williams, but no one wants to die.
