Camped at Stump Lake Park, went fishing Friday night - managed 3 keepers and 3 throw back walleye's. Fished about 24 ft of water in the trees. Saturday night we went across the lake to the West from the Pavillion and fished by a lone Cotton Wood in about 30 feet and caught 2 keepers right away. Then it died down so we moved back to near the boat launch and caught about 5 throw back fish to every 1 keeper and ended up with 6 for the day. First time on this lake and it was fun but i lost alot of tackle. I'll still give it a try again though. Good luck!

Went out to water test the boat after installing a reman powerhead. Boat worked great but I couldn't find any walleyes. Tried slip bobbering in the trees and jigging. Did catch 3 good sized northerns on a white jig with a yellow twistertail. Quite a few boats out fishing and saw some guys with walleyes at the cleaning station.

Jigging in 15' tied to a tree near old Hwy 1 south side. We caught alot of 12" smalleyes, but we did catch some 15" fish that will make it to the frying pan. Also had a 27" northern caught by a 16 year old girl that could of made AFV. Seen some 20"-22" walleyes at the cleaning station along with a 26" that had a belly like a largemouth bass. All were taken on crawlers. |

caught approx 16 walleyes kept 8 between 14"-16" between 2 of us in the trees 18ft on slip bobbers
witn 1/32 oz. white glow jigs best action around 8:00 after 9:00 it slowed down was north of park on east shoreline below cliff with house on top in evergreens |

Second Hand Report;
Fishing on Stump has been very good the last couple of weeks. First thing in the mornings and towards the afternoon time frame, slip bobbers in the trees have been producing very good numbers of fish. Also during the main part of the day, try pulling #4 or #5 Salmo Green Tiger Hornets around the outside areas of the trees in about 10-12 feet of water. Also, it's about that time to start pulling on the old flood road beds, they should be heating up there very shortly. |

Guna hit stump up this weekend, anyone try jiggin the trees lately? Was thinkin after this storm we just had they mite duck down in the trees to about 20 or 25 feet. Would anyone agree? would appreciate any other info, if anything else has been working. thank you

heard there was a few boats out, sounded pretty slow, and neighbor was out today fished from shore, couple big northerns thats it, just got the boat back today so should be out soon!

Fishing Sat for the afternoon only one small northern. We had a bunch of light bites they just didn't seem hungry. We fished in fifteen feet of water and we did mark alot of fish but a hour before dark they moved out and it was a dead sea

Fishing on Stump was good. 32ft of water. Caught everything 2 inches off of the bottom. Used the smallest minnows possible with colored (white) hooks. For some reason jigs didnt work. Just hooks and baby bobbers. Farmers almanac was right on...morning bite-good, evening-poor. Nothing after 3pm.
