any body been out since open water? if so what was water temp? and are docks in?

Was out there on the east side on monday the 2nd... cut a spear hole and drilled 6 others in 17 ft. Clear as a bell, good ice - 12''. Would have angled a little if there were any fish down there. Sat from 10:30 till dark and had 3 small walleyes come through, caught 2 of them to release and that was the only living thing we saw there all day. I haven't fished this lake in about 4 years and this is the worst I've seen or heard of it being. Spiritwood should be the POSTER CHILD FOR MIS-MANAGING A RESOURCE.

the fishing own spiritwood was the best i had in a long time lot of perch and eyes we were useing leaches and number 4 salmos in 8ft to 10ft.

What is best to use for walleyes and pike and does anyone know some good areas to shore fish?

Got out today at about 7:30, thinking it was going to be nice with winds below 10mph. Lake had white caps and was blowen 20+. Many people out most i think were fishing for walleye, seen a few people land some sort of fish. I went out for smallmouth with no luck at all, water is still a little cold. |
