Gator Baiter Joined: 02/20/2010 Location: nd	I usally do mine about 3' by 2and a half. any bigger makes it hard to get out the door of my shack. Sometimes i use my chisel to bevel out the bottom edge of the ice which lets you see farther. The big ones can kinda make you a little nervous too. In my one man shelter I use a 2 by 2 hole for site fishing and that works fine also.
