Spearfishing The Devils Lake area

luv pike Joined: 05/11/2010 Location: ND	Hey im new to spearfishing and with a basketball tourney in devils lake this next weekend a buddy and i were looking to try it out. Just wondering if anyone has been out on devils lake or stump or anywhere close and how water clarity was and if they had any luck. thanks for the info guys.

TCRenagade Joined: 03/27/2002 Location: ND	Try the Lakewood boat dock area. Just to the North of the new dock. It is the right depth and the water is pretty clear. There is a nice flat area for about 40 yards out from shore that is the old parking area when the water was lower. If you can get near the drop off it might pay off.

TCRenagade Joined: 03/27/2002 Location: ND	Yes. The East Shore. If you can get to it off the Henegar Boat ramp is also a possibility but with all the dike work probably not so accessible.
