Supporting local business to ND is great. Hand made and carved is awesome. If I speared I most definetly would purchase a couple! Sounds like a good deal for everyone.

Many of our customers also use them to display as art so upon request we include a free display stand.

Our decoys are of collector quality but priced to use also.

My brother and I were just talking about giving spearing a try. What size and species do you recommend to start with around the Minot area?

Hi frozen_stiff:   for Minot area I highly recommend the yellow perch - in either size or the walleye has been another popular seller for us, as well as the northern.  We sold alot of all these species at the Pride of Dakota show in Minot and have received exceptional feedback and dozens of additional orders from that area.  Hope this helps and thank you, Rick & Connie

Example of our Yellow Perch in large size of 9 1/4 inches - one of our most popular in ND - and remember they are all swim tested - great swimmers !

Frozen-stiff, I prefer the larger decoys.  In my experience with smaller decoys you get more fish that come cruising in at Mach 4 and try to swallow the decoy.  Once they get a taste of the wood they spook and take off before you get a chance to throw down.

Rick,

Speared a really rare 37" silver phase pike...never seen one in person before & I hear they don't get too big.  Used your walleye decoy.  Here's a pic.
