I suppose I'll give Deepwater a whirl this weekend.

New Town for me, a buddy up there with a cabin claims to be catching em with bottom bouncers and a crawler, or jig and a minnow. We will see.

Indian Hills was slow last weekend. A few saugers being caught out in front of the point.

I had many conversations with local fisherman and the consensus seems to be to look for warm water currents coming off the hills...hit points back in bays with underwater shelves when you see 10-15 foot drop-offs there are a few bays east of Indian hills we marked a ton of fish around 17 FOW....we only made it out for part of a day had trolling motor issues.
If wind stays out of the southerly direction head west and hit points of the big lake with mud lines....

Most of us agreed that any spots you have marked with in the last 10 years might as well be erased. The fish are there it’s just finding them that is going to be challenging.

Good luck

I'll be up there (Hazen/Beulah Bays) the next two weekends. My fingers are crossed. Dad says it's starting to pick up.

Caught one sauger last weekend around Garrison, but will be back Friday to start searching for the fish. Be there for 3 weeks so look me up if your want. Live two miles east of Garrison and run a red 2100 Skeeter. Also have screen name on motor and windshield.

Can you even get to the ramps? We aren't going to Deepwater this year. Pretty bummed about it.

Josh, I haven't really checked into the ramp situation actually. I'm pretty sure ft. Stevens is open.... I'll get some facts in a few hours. I just assumed deepwater was open since a friend that goes there every year invited us. I should know better than to assume.
