is it just my computer or does anyone else have a tough time checking this site??. i visit 8 sites each day and all are lightning quick. fishing buddy takes forever (not  really) but i rarely visit the photo gallery and even post on it less because it sometimes takes a minute to get back.
is it because of all the add's that seem to be so prevelant here??. not bitchin, just askin.

it seems to load slow or even lock up for 10 to 40 seconds right when I go to the site.  and occasionally lock up & seem glitchy as I browse.  However, the pop up ad seems to load faster than anything else on the internet if my mouse cursor even nicks it by accident.

Try a different internet browser.  Mozilla Firefox is the best I've found, rather than Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.  I don't have trouble at home or at school with anything loading and it's relatively quick, within 3 seconds or so anyway.

I run nothing but IE and am on the site quite a bit.  I do not have errors, my speed is not bad (especially at home).  I have t1 and cat 6 throughout all places I browse (except home).  Likewise, on my iPhone the performance is pretty good.

So, some of this is foreign to me.  But on that note, we will look into this and see if we need to bump up some power.  This is the season we get the most traffic so it could be a load problem.

Thanks for the info and keep posting issues with the site.  Only way we can address them is to know about them.

If you guys are using IE, view the page in compatibility view. That should solve your problems.

If you're using the newer version of IE (not sure which one it is) there should be an icon that looks like a piece of paper torn in half on the right side of your address bar or a compatibility view tab uner your tools tab.

Chrome is probably the fastest browser, I like Firefox the best personally. IE is my browser of last resort. I cant stand viewing FBO with IE, its so 'busy' with all the ad spam.

Firefox and Google Chrome are free. I like Chrome the best.  Chrome is the fastest.

I am pretty sure my router is causing my problems. Not the web site.

Internet .Explorer is just plain worthless.
