Walleye lake,well maybe not the death but it sure changes things for aquatic life,sad deal to see~zebra mussels in mille lacs lake,or should I say "carpet"

Hopefully some good will come of it that we haven't fully appreciated yet. Hopefully. :(

And eventually, when you get a "monoculture" like that going great guns, some disease, parasite, or predator comes out of the woodwork ... eventually. :(

I know they are bad but what exactly do they do to a lake to make them really bad?  Just flat out take over everything?

i believe they over filter the water leaving little forage for baitfish?

when it hit lake erie it was said it would be the end of fishing in lake erie.  well they now have the best walleye fishery in the world.  I'm not too shook up about it from a fishing standpoint.  the system will adjust.
