UND beats NDSU's second most popular sport, How significant is this?

There is no excuse. You beat the 85th ranked team in college basketball.

For the record, beating a team by 5 points isn't rolling them.

Big win for UND even though it is painful to say. They played well and SU shot horribly nice work you turds ;).

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

Poor shooting by NDSU, which I would say had a good deal to do with the defense played tonight against them. Not a particularly well played game by either team. The pressure and hype I think took a toll on both teams.
In my lifetime I have seen fence row to fence row farming and the return of CRP and game to the landscape.Now we face again the prosepect of fence row to fence row again! Sportsman are our own worst enemy in that we fail to look forward and focus to much on the now!

I was very unimpressed with both teams. Seemed like a high school game almost.

Not an excuse, but I wonder how the shooting backdrop is in REA?  Both teams had pretty low shooting percentages.  Bison looked flat/uninterested for some reason.  Had several possesions when they were up 4-5 points and could have pulled away a little and just took the first half open shot they saw and ran back on D.   First I've seen them play this year, but they looked bad!

I have been to numerous Bison-Sioux basketball games in my life at NDSU. I have never seen us storm the court after beating UND.

Bison had the 5th ranked shooting percentage in the country coming into this game.

I can't take any of your posts seriously anymore after you slammed UND Hockey a few weeks ago. Geez, bitter much?

It makes up for the "Sioux Suck" comment by SU fans, That was the main reason for all the hype.

They wont play us at football, so the sports we do play them in we make it count.

Shooting on both sides was horrible, I was hoping NDSU didnt start pulling away.

Dont blame UND fans for getting excited about beating our arch rival and I hope the rivalry continues!

Not bitter. It just shows how pathetic UND is in sports less hockey. By this time in NDSU's transition, their basketball team had already had two wins over top 25 teams in the country.

UND's biggest win in basketball is over NDSU.

it was NDSU JV's that played tonight  not the varcity team You have to expect und to win then

Eh, not many people rushed out there. Seems like teams storm the court more and more these days. ACC teams do it almost religiously, and they beat each other all the time.

I have been to 6 NDSU UND games in my life. I have never one seen NDSU fans storm the court after a win.

Good for you. I have been to dozens of football games and never heard a team chant that another school sucks unless they were playing that school. I guess there is a first for everything. You think that might have played a part? On second thought, I don't care it's basketball
