I am wanting to go out for smallmouth once the water goes down enough to get a boat in. Have hurd that around and north of Valley City is a good area for them. Any one else ever specificly targeted smallmouth on the Sheyenne? I dont want your honey hole just a point in a general direction would help.
Thanks.

Yes anywhere around valley city is good. Have caught a lot this year cranks or nightcrawlers suspended off the bottom should work best. Have fun there's some big ones around VC.
If everyone focused on the important things in life the world would have a shortage of fishing poles.
