Sheds

The Bigger sheds were snagged off the property on January 15th and sold to a collector who contacted me and wanted to make sure I got to see them in person. So we took photos and compared.
Without spread smaller pair went 144/ 167 with 17" spread
Without spread large pair went 188/ 206 with 189" spred
Officially scored and booked by NASHA, Bigger sheds are now the #1 scored sheds in North Dakota.
Thats an F-150 hood they are set on

Re: Hed,
I remember awhile back we were discussing the score on this giant. I obviously did not give him enough credit. My apologizes! I hope you get a poke at this guy this fall, that is, if he made it through the winter! Which im sure he did! Best Wishes Taylorman |

Re:I guessed him pretty close at 210
, awesome buck indeed to bad the sledder got them before you with all the history you have with that deer!

Re:So the story has changed, the guy that found them said he found one side at the end of his driveway and the other about 70 yards down the road on the side of the road, not on a snowmobile...

Re:NOW the story changes. Of course the guy that found them would change it to distract attention from his criminal activity. Typical moron to say the least. If the buck was roaming around in his front yard, why didn't he shoot it? Plus his yard has about 4 trees in it and zero cover/food. Good fish story though.

Re:HEd, I have a few things I would like to say about the CRAP your posting about the guy who found these sheds. I have known this guy for over 27 years now and know a little bit more about the way he is and the way he hunts. Unlike you, i've had the pleasure to hunt with him. Too bad you never will! FIRST off, he was NOT trespassing! You have to actually go onto posted land WITHOUT permission for it to be trespassing, and that wasn't the case, he has permission. So, get your story straight. SECONDLY, this guy is probably one of the most ethical, hard working, honest deer hunters around this area. If you knew him at all, (which i'm sure you don't since your throwing this smack around), you know would that! It must suck to be as jealous as you are??!! THIRDLY, if you call yourself a sportsman, you should read a dictionary. You probably can't read, so let me tell you what the meaning of a Sportsman is: A person who engages in sports (as in hunting and fishing): a person who shows sportsmanship. And incase you're not sure what sportsmanship is, here's the definition of that too: Conduct (as fairness, respect for one's oppenent, and graciousness in winning or losing) becoming to one participating in a sport. So, there's a word in there that i don't think applies to you and that's "respect" You have no right to call yourself a true sportsman! Fourthly, why in the WORLD would this guy tell you exactly where he found these sheds? If i'm correct, and please correct me if i'm wrong, this deer belongs to NOBODY! Therefore, he has just as much right to hunt and scout it as much as the next person. Now, to comment on Arrow em's comment of "criminal activity and being the typical moron", shame on you for throwing judgment out there about this guy! If you've ever had the pleasure of hunting or fishing with him, those words wouldn't come out of your mouth. HEd, I feel sorry for a person like you who has nothing better to do then to bash someone like this guy. You could actually take some lessons from him on hunting, fishing and even shed hunting, but for someone like you, you probably wouldn't understand any of it anyway. I will say good luck hunting this deer, but i do happen to believe that he is waaay smarter than you and you won't get a chance at him! |

Re:Booommmmmmmm!! This story just keeps getting better.

Re:So which one of you guys that knows the story, the true story is gonna step up and tell it. Just like seeing how crazy this little squeaker makes people.

Re:hlt, there really isn't a STORY to this. This guy has been shed hunting for as long as i have known him and he is a true deer hunter and fisherman! He didn't just happen to stumble onto these sheds, as he is in the field every year looking for these. Ya, he maybe did get "lucky" finding them, but for as hard as he works at being a true sportsman, then he deserves it. |
