SE North Dakota Lakes - Sunday, December 11, 2011

Haven't seen this much action in years on lakes!  I was out on Nathis Slough from 10 to 4... There must have been 30 vehicles parked on the roads.  Action was unbeleiveable, if you like the 5 inch perch.  Actually ran out of bait for the fist time in my life.  Very fun could only have a couple of lines in the water because it was impossible to keep up.. However, I only caught 4 keepers around 10 inches.  Maybe some others got into the bigger ones, but I sure didnt.  It still was fun to get out and have some action.  Everyone seemed to head to Buffalo around 3 for the walleye bite.  I drove by there and saw many of the same vehicles I saw at Nathis.  Be safe everyone, drove by some other lakes that still had open water..
