Scoria bay Salmon fishing??

Went into scoria Bay Sunday, water is only 3 feet deep going into the bay, and does not get any deeper for a long way up into the bay. Do you think the salmon will even go in there this fall or will it dry up??? Want to try to catch some from shore, but wonder if that will even be possible? Any expert opinions on this subject???

Buy salmon in the store and spend your time goose hunting.

Glad you saw the humor in it! That's how it was intended, just joking around.

If you run into any salmon from shore don't be afraid to post. I fished at rodeo Bay a few years ago but from what I've heard that is dried up now. I don't want to haul a boat that far, but it would be fun to drive out and catch some salmon from shore again.

rezleb, Talk to the people at Scott's Conoco in Pick City, they should know where the salmon are biting if they are. Also, last year around this time maybe a week or two later we saw people catching salmon near the boat ramp in the state park so I would assume that they do go into other bays. Good luck.
