posted by: Birdhunter81. Well lets hope Alaska Fairbanks can put enough of a hurtin on BC to leave them a little wounded. I'll bet the Sioux are looking for blood against BC after getting knocked out by them a couple of times in the few previous years. It'd be great to see them beat BC.

Didn't see the first few minutes of the game. When we got to the party and saw we were down by two I figured it was going to be a looooong night. Well it ended up being a loooong night anyway but not because of what I previously anticipated.

I hate BC JUST about as much as the rodents.....just about. First things first though, bring on those hoity toity Yale boys!!

Part of intelligence is recognizing opportunities. Kristo was coming at an oblique angle to the SCSU player. He could have taken a bump from Kristo and drew a penalty. He chose to get his arms up in Kristo's face and put his team down two players and the result was they ended up down two goals. I'd call that dumb. He forced the Ref to make a call that HAD to go against him. You can tell he wasn't going to get blasted by how the collision turned out. Kristo goaded him into taking a dumb penalty.

Another incident in the game that came down to stupidity and/or recognizing an opportunity was when Malone slashed the stick out of the SCSU players hands on a faceoff. What exactly was Malone thinking? Apparently he wasn't. On the other hand, did the SCSU player really have that light a grip on the stick or did he just let it go? No choice there on whether to make a call. Blow the whistle and send Malone to the box.

I agree but I walked in on the tail end of a massive hit into the boards that the wonderful annoucers thought should have gotten a UND player tossed he ran that dudes head into the boards. Its hockey but I thought the ejections was a bit of a tic tac call. And it sadly changed the game refs shouldnt do that. I am not unhappy or happy with the out come I just hate seeing refs have a direct out come of the game

Early in the 3rd period Blood sat 2 Min. for a little push that resulted in a SC player going head first into the boards, Blood was lucky the SC player jumped right up and skated away, If he would have laid on the ice like a wounded gopher UND could have been short handed for 5 Min.
