Thanks for the update.... I was wondering if there were any footprints. The 'blobsquatch' video' doesn't really prove anything but footprints definately raise some eyebrows. I was watching a documentary on television yesterday about 'ol Sasquatchee and a fingerprint specialist had examined footprints and he said they were real and made by an unknown creature because of the 'dermal' ridges found on the footprints. Primates and humans have unique features on their feet and these prints were neither primate or human but unique in respect that the dermal ridges run lengthwise along the foot. He looked at prints that were cast from areas that were 700 miles apart and taken 20-25 years apart and they were identical. He stated that it would almost be impossble to 'hoax' this type of evidence. Well, we'll just have to wait and see........

re: Bigfoot video

posted by: NSO Field Staff - Tim PetersonRemove. Here's an update, last night on current affair the same guy that took the blury, grainy video was back at it.This time they went to the spot where the beast was last seen, took pictures of the prints, measured them(20"s long) show'ed pic's of a couple 4" tree's that where snapped off as the beast was exiting the area.

Now,the Nat'l Geographic is coming to research the area,we'll see what's next.
I found a website that interviewed a California bigfoot "researcher" who saw the video in Bobby Clarke's home. He says the video is blurry, but it is clear enough to site for an expedition of Northern Canada to do more research.

although I didn't see the program. I am with the rest of you. Any current or even 10 year old camera would take a better quality footage than what we see in the video. Did Bobby Clarke lick the lens before filming or what???

I can safely say I am rather dissappointed in the quality of the video.

re: Bigfoot video

posted by: Rowdie. I could easily round up a bunch of guys and start an immediate HUNT. SHOOT TO KILL. If I organized for a day I could get hundreds of people.

re: Bigfoot video

posted by: bobkat. I'm out of town and was able to watch the whole program. Yes, with modern technology, even older more primitive technology, why is the quality so bad? Out of focus, grainy, and exposure was bad. Can't conclude anything from it. On one part of the film someone had tried to photo enhance and enlarge it, and it was so bad you could see individual pixels appear. Abolutely no details, even crude ones, could be seen!
A couple of points, though. To me, and I'm not an expert, (who is??) the thing shown was walking upright as a flagpole, no arm swinging, and walking far to slow. According to the anthropologists who study this "thing", the ergonomics would be entirely wrong. According to them, anything this large and bipedal would have to have approximately a 15 degree bend in the lower thoracic/upper lumbar vertebrae, or the center of gravity wouldn't be correct and it would fall over. Also, in order to move, to maintain its center of gravity, it would have to swing its arms and take rather long smooth fluid kind of bouncy steps. The Patterson video, filmed in the mountains of northern California (in ?1967?)has been studied by anthropologists and structural engineers the world over for over 30 years, and most of their conclusions are the same. They believe either a hoaxer got it right (although at the time even the Disney people said they couldn't make anything like that that could traverse the terrain like it could) or it was the real thing. If you believe all these 'experts' this thing is far too straight and upright,(no bend) walks too slowly with little steps, doesn't arm swing, and in short, looks like a man in an ape suit with some sort of extension to make it look taller. Looked too thin to me for its height, too. Very non flud movements, too. Sort of shuffled very slowly along.
In my lowly opinion, another hoax, although another hoax doesn't necessarily make the existence of a Saskwatch any more or less real. I remain an "agnostic" about its existence, neither convinced there is such a thing, or convinced there is not such a thing! I'm still open minded and intrigued!
It will be interesting what the real "experts" say about this film once it gets further analyzed.

re: Bigfoot video

posted by: NSO Field Staff - Tim PetersonRemove. Seen the whole deal last night and the Goofball that took the pic's,does not convince me.You would think after taking the video during the day, watching the creature or whatever wonder off in the woods that they would have gone to the location and looked for tracks along the shoreline.Grainy,Blurry or just wackey someone made a quick $.
I watched the promo on the a current affair website... the thing that gets me is that unless the guy was using a really, really old camera, or was shooting the film from a really long ways away (and using the digital zoom on his camera) why is the picture so grainy? Just about any $100 camera that was manufactured in the last 10 years or so should have a clearer image than that...
I was disappointed in the video. I saw the small clip on the website. It struck me strange that the creature walked more like a human than any other footage thats out there. It could be that he's wading thru the water too. The video proves nothing. I did find some more pics of a goonie goo goo on another website. Its www.greatamericanbigfoot.com
It shows a supposed goonie washing itself down with water and then charging the cameraman. This goonie looks like a man dressed in an ape suit. Its kind of funny to see the pics.the only real thing about the pics is that the goonie isn't wearing any underwear and his privates look like they are exposed. Maybe when they made the suit they sewed them in to make it look real.......hehehehehee Anyhow, my belief in the Sasquatch hasn't changed because of the Manitoba video. He's still a mystery. I'd guess I'd have to see the tracks up close and first hand and hear the sound recordings in person to maybe change my mind.... to me he's still a mystery..... until the next Goonie sighting... keep your broadheads sharp and your video camera handy.....

re: Bigfoot video

posted by: Nick Simonson.
Heaven forbid - BLURRY?!?

Do you think anyone will ever get a clear photo or video of Nessie, UFOs, Sasquatch or Elvis? That's what keeps our hopes alive that we are not alone, and the truth is out there! (Insert XFiles theme here).
