Ron Paul polls very well against obama. I think reps would be wise to consider him for the nomination. Although a lot of u disagree w his thoughts, u would probably agree he is better than obama. Independents or swing voters are drawn to him and a few polls suggest he might be the only nominee capable of beating him. If the media keeps dissing him, someone else gets the nod, he feels jaded and runs as a 3rd party, obama will most certainly get a 2nd term.

Ron Paul is a tool that would be as bad for the country as Barry, just in the opposite fashion.

Bad as in too far right? Too much of a constitutionalist? To much of a states rights supporter? Blah blah... Nevermind. The discussion will just lead to nothing.

Revised version!

The ANT
AND THE
GRASSHOPPER
This one is a little different ......
Two Different Versions .....
Two Different Morals

OLD VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and
laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter,
so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:
Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house
and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN and ABC
show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with
a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is
allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah
with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing,

'It's Not Easy Being Green..'

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, We shall overcome.

Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright
has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper's sake.

President Obama condemns the ant
and blames President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with

Larry King that the ant has
gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper,
and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of

green bugs and,
having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize and ramshackle the once prosperous and peaceful neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest
of the free world with it.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Be careful how you vote in 2012

I've sent this to you because
I believe that you are an ant!

You may wish to pass this on to other ants, but don't bother sending it on to any grasshoppers because they wouldn't understand it anyway.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?

Ol' Mitty did Dr Paul a solid by saying he wasnt mainstream enough to get the nomination and be elected against Obama. Pretty obvious how well mainstream has been treating the American people the last few go-arounds.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

only people that want to Ron Paul are those that want to legalize drugs, those that are rooting for the gays and those that want no military outside of our borders.

Ouch! Right there that is going to leave a mark on some!

None of the RP supporters I have talked with can explain how two of his platform positions can co-exist! Free trade and the Gold Standard. They can explain one or the other but not how they can work together and the short answer is that they cannot! This is why only 12% of the people polled nationwide see him as viable in the current field of candidates!
In my lifetime I have seen fence row to fence row farming and the return of CRP and game to the landscape. Now we face again the prosepect of fence row to fence row again! Sportsman are our own worst enemy in that we fail to look forward and focus to much on the now!

Keep cheering on the status quo. I have a hard time arguing with the fact that since our system has obviously  lost its way that maybe looking towards the Constitution and our forefathers for guidance is a good idea. I am very anti dope but I am very pro states rights. I think electing presidents who are supposed to fix America as a whole needs to stop, let us at state citizens within a federal system sort it out. Is Paul the guy? I dunno, are the same ol politicians? Fairly certain not.

If somebody else ran with Ron Paul's stance on the constitution but had a better grasp on economics and foreign policy then they no doubt would have a much better chance than RP.  Outside of his constitutional diatribe he's a complete buffoon.

I am not sure who I like at this point but to me as of now I would vote for RP and I don't do drugs and could careless about drugs. I am not gay and I think marriage is only between a man and a woman. The only thing that bothers me a little bit about RP is his foreign policy. Domestically, I don't think anyone comes close.

Son, I think you better go educate yourself on the man. You are sounding like the tool others accuse you of being.

Even his foreign policy has mellowed out some in the last few years and actually I really like the idea that why cant we discuss going to war and ratify it just like the constitution says we are supposed to.  There are no other candidates that could have his stance on the constitution because that would go againt everything that these men are as candidates. Do you think the rest of the GOP field got to where they are in life by letting people decide for themselves, these gey are the type that need their hands in everything.

Obama's gonna get a second term because the establishment wants him to have a second term.

Just like the establishment wanted G.W. to have a second term (how else can you explain John Kerry?).
