I own two RR rifles the Operator .223 and .308.  They are amazing rifles!  The only word of advice I would give you is go for the lightest rifle possible.  Mine are VERY heavy the way it is, I can't imagine adding a 24" heavy barrel to them.

A buddy of mine built up a AR with all the best custom parts and a 24" heavy barrel just to find out that he had a tack driving "bench only" rifle.  He now wants an ultra light gun with a 16" barrel.

The predator pursuit 16 in is 7.2 lbs unloaded. Not bad, but of course optics, bipod etc. But it is a ss barrel and advertised as 3/4 moa. Which carbine were you looking at?

if you are set on one or the other get the carbine, they are both heavy pibs. great shooters but a bummer to lug around.

Well the Elite operator 2 is nearly a pound heavier and you lose the benefits of ss. But you would now have iron sights so you could shoot right away w/o optics. You could also lighten the predator pursuit by switching to some magpul plastics.

I dont find the coyote carbine heavy at all. I walked about 6 miles with it on Satuday Coyote hunting and had zero issues. I would say go with the coyote the 3/4 moa gurantee that the offer is no joke and the 2 stage match trigger is really nice. If you have anymore questions on the gun let me know would be happy to answer them.

Remington VTR Byron South Edition.  18" barrel so you get a full burn on your cartridge without losing muzzle velocity.  Also way quieter than a 16" barrel.  It also has an adjustable two stage trigger and weighs about 6 lbs.  I topped mine with a Leupy Mark AR with turrets calibrated for 55gr. polymer tips(vmax or Ballistic tip).  Got a magpul sling that carries in "the ready" position and I can carry it all day long with no fatigue.  Got the rifle for $1150 at the loft.  Magpul sling $100.  Scope mount $100.  Scope $475.  Harris bipod $130.  Extremely light and extremely accurate.  Turrets were accurate up to 300 yds. with 55gr. vmax Ultramax ammo.  Would have tried further but I ran out of real estate to set up the old soda bottle.
