Red River (North) - Thursday, July 23, 2009

Pre-fishing last night, I wasn't expecting to get "humbled", but instead knock them dead, and then talk a bunch of smack today about the upcoming Tourney. I really don't fish the South Ramp very much, and the only time I do is for Wednesday night cat league. So I'm trying to "learn it", and it just isn't sinking in. We went all the way to the Thompson Bridge (didn't realize that equals 1/4 tank of gas). Bites, bites, bites, tap tap tap-er-oo! Nothing would commit, and looking at the size of the bite marks these were all small male cats, Drum, etc. I tried everything in my arsenal. Oh well, next time we won't go that far I guess.
