Red River (North) - Sunday, July 17, 2011

Report Details

See the river level is dropping at Drayton. Has anyone been able to fish the area yet. Planning a trip to Drayton in a couple weeks, can anyone tell me what is a good river level to start fishing the area. Afraid of driving 500 miles and have the river to high. Typicallg go every year about the end of July but do not remember what the normal level should be to fish below the Drayton Dam. Appreciate any input, Thanks Jamie.

I would call up there honestly and see, but I know its way too high I spend alot of time up there when the water is good, but even in Fargo the river has been ridiculously high all summer. I have a couple connections up there to get reports and last I had heard it wasn't good, I am planning trip in late August and Sep, and hoping for then.
