went out friday and fished elm street, the north dam, drain 10, and 3 spots at the dike east in fargo, using goldeye, sucker, and live and dead frogs, nothing. how do you get cats here? I talked to the guy at the fargo bait and tackle shop and he said that I was doing everthing right.

its takes a lot of patience. just keeping tryin and youll do fine. maybe mess with your weights sometimes if yo dont have a heavy enough weight your bait wont stick right on the bottom.

Fishing is tough right now for all of us shore fisherman with the river so high. Just keep trying. You are doing it right, maybe try each spot a little longer and a little less relocating. Moving that much in a day would drive me nuts, ha.

and I was on a bike while carrying 2 rods, a bait bucket, a tackle box, and a few other assorted items.
