Red River (North) - Monday, July 25, 2011

Got a really late start and did not get out until about 11-5, worst time to catch cats I hear but went out anyway.  Using Frogs and cut goldeye.  Goldeye produced a few fish but the Frogs where the ticket.  Boated 9 fish between 10-14Lbs on frogs. I have only been fishing Cats for about a year but I could not believe how they hit the frogs.  Everyone darn near ripped the rod out of my hand.  Only had about 15 frogs so ran out quickly.  Sending the kids out today to get as many as they can.
