Red River (North) - Monday, April 13, 2015

Brief Report Details:

Went out yesterday afternoon to the north boat ramp and caught 2 goldeyes about 16 inches on a 2-4 ft sinking crankbait. Also caught a 26 inch 8lb walleye with a jig and mr twister tail. Lots of people out there and lots of snags. I prolly lost 6-10 jigs and so did a friend of mine.

So do you cast the jig out, let the current take it, and work it back in?

I was down underneath the walking bridge and was just using the weight of the jig

Were you right off the end of the rocks on the dam? And did you use additional weight or did you rely on the weight of the jig?
