Nope, if I would have hooked it the thing would have fallen off at the bottom of the hole.  Then I would have nightmares of it for the rest of my life. Ha.

Im going to take a stab and say the fish is held out quite aways away from the body and the guys fingers look huge in relation to everything else in the picture.  Its a nice fish but no a walleye pushing 15 lbs

It is a great fish, I love it when all the fins and gills flare and the mouth is open. It would be a perfect mount just the way he's holding it, just about to suck in a lure!

Funny thing.....  Plumber was over yesterday and his sons friend is the guy that caught it.  He showed me the pic on his phone.  He didnt know the weight, so I assume either does the guy that caught the fish.  I guessed 10+ based on it being 15 ft out in front of him.....kinda pizzed off the plumber.  A beautiful fish for sure.

YES, I am that foolish!

Well it's no greenback from Red River system - that's pretty clear.

DL for sure?  The color on the fish would've had me guessing LOW but I'm wrong a lot.  Whomever took the photo captured the colors quite well.

Looks to be a devils lake back ground with the flooded timber look.

I don't disagree, however, the North end of Long Point could look like that too this time of year.

Regardless, hell of a fish and great colors in the photo, nothing not to like!
