Reasons why the Vikings Suck... (non political).

Listening to a little AM sports talk radio this afternoon... all they can talk about is how damn awesome RGIII, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson are.... blah, blah, blah, blah, bliggetty friggin blah...

It got me to thinking how much MY Minnesota Vikings suck arse.  I started going thru all of the ways and reasons i feel this way.  Pretty soon my head was overflowing with information... there were just too many reasons for my brain to wrap its little comfort blanket around.  So, I figured I would start a thread to get a little more insight and clarity... please feel free to give your input here.  I will start:

1.  Christian Ponder the different ways we suck

it's really the whole offense.  Line does an average job on it's best days.  No premiere receiver you can count on getting open when it's needed.  AP struggles catching the ball.  Pass blocking is sketchy at best.  QB is dismal.  The defense can keep you in just about any game if it's motivated to do so.  The special teams have been very good.

 Definitely the fans.

Is it impious to weigh goose music and art in the same scales? I think not, because the true hunter is merely a noncreative artist. Who painted the first picture on a bone in the caves of France? A hunter. Who alone in our modern life so thrills to the sight of living beauty that he will endure hunger and thirst and cold to feed his eye upon it? The hunter. Who wrote the great hunter's poem about the sheer wonder of the wind, the hail, and the snow, the stars, the lightnings, and the clouds, the lion, the deer, and the wild goat, the raven, the hawk, and the eagle, and above all the eulogy to the horse? Job, one of the great dramatic artists of all time. Poets sing and hunters scale the mountains primarily for one and the same reason--the thrill of beauty. Critics write and hunters outwit their game primarily for one and the same reason--to reduce that beauty to possession. The differences are largely matters of degree, consciousness, and that sly arbiter of the classification of human activities, language. If, then, we can live without goose music, we may as well do away with stars, or sunsets, or Iliads. But the point is we would be fools to do away with any of them.

At this time of year most all teams have line issues as large offensive lineman start to breakdown with ankle and leg injuries,it happens every year to every team. Ponder cannot throw a ball accurately or more importantly consistently. He does not have a strong arm and he suffers with control issues, ala T Jack!

Like Viking QB's for many many years (excluding rent a QB for one year, Favre) The QB is a bottom half of the NFL quality player. Its a constant theme in Minny for many years.Vikes have had 1 quality QB in its entire history and that was in the 1970's, meaning, 40 years!!!!!!!

Give the ball to Peterson 50 times a game is great of paper. yep, on paper! According to Vikes fans Peterson should touch the ball every play, and return kick-offs. Peterson wont make the season with the workload they are putting on him now. The time is ticking for him taking a bad hit yet this year.Than let the finger pointing begin. Fact is, you are a bad football team.
