This is who I sold mine to last year and he gave more than fair prices. I am not sure about his route this year, but you can contact him.

Just a note to anybody that is selling mink. I raised mink for a living and found it really odd that we received 2-3 times more for our females than we did our males when we sold them at auction. I thought it was interesting that when I was a kid trapping mink that we received way less for our females than our males. If the buyer is offering you way less for your females you might want to quiz him on that. The females are worth much more because the quality of the fur way higher than the males.

I did a little more looking and found some other places that you might want to look into. I know there is a gentleman that goes to Kist Livestock in the winter picking up whole carcasses at a lower rate. He is really particular about how they were skinned, any holes or knicks in the hide and whatnot, which lowers the price he gives. If I am not mistaken, I think his name is Ernie Voight. Do not quote me on his first name, but I do know his last name is Voight. Good luck getting your furs this year.

Pretty sure it is Arnie Voigt at Kist (not 100% but close ;-)

According to Fur-Fish-Game, October issue, Tops of $40-$50 for Northern coons for early demand, averages in the 20s and commercial goods in the mid to high teens. Coat types will top at 15 when available. Last year for a heavy coat, I received $30.

coyote, your coons wont be worth anything at this time, the furs havn't got prime yet, worth messing with, I do alot of traping and some fur buying, the fur market is looking worse then last yr. excet for cats. and reguarding the mink ? females always bring about half compared to the males, not sure all that much why because I dont ship enough to the auction, to care that much. the only things i'll be buying this winter is coon and badger, and large beave and bobcat.
