Rain Gear

Looking to get a new set of tops and bottoms for hunting (bowhunting mostly). Looking for durable, lightweight, quiet, packable, and as breathable as raingear can get.

Looking at the Cabelas MT050's but I've looked at a ton of different brands and styles and am still not sure what to get.

Any suggestions?
The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard

Sitka.  Breathes better.

The only piece of MT050 I own is a pair of gloves and they leaked from the 1st day I used them.

The cabelas space rain stuff is real light and packable.....and is pretty quiet. Not exactly made for brush busting but you probably won't find any light packable raingear that is. I wouldn't say they are breathable, but the top is a 1/4 zip. For active style hunting I have been very happy with them. Scheels also makes the identical stuff, not sure what they call it but there are some tops on sale right now in the clearance isle in Bismarck....pretty good deal.

I have the Gander Mountain Tech H2O jacket and it's always kept me dry, but it really holds the water and doesn't dry out very fast and gets heavy.
Looked at the Sitka raingear again today, but I have trouble justifying spending that much on something I hope to only have to wear a couple days a year, and I guess if it's really that bad out I don't know how much I'll be leaving camp anyway?
