I am assuming its one with the 2.5 inch chamber , which is still a nice pistol,
but the 3" is tough to come by

Ever been to one of the G&F auctions?  Don't go there looking to get a good deal on a gun.  It is great where the money from the auction goes, just don't assume you will get a good deal on anything.  It has been my experience that when guns are up for auction, many people lose thier marbles and the price goes higher than they would have paid at any gun dealer.

No lose of marbles, it is greared for the needed donations.  Looking for a deal go to a garage sale.    As a donation to the R.A.P. they are all a bargin.

Not going to disagree with you on that one Mauser.  I agree that if you consider it as a donation, then it is a worthy cause.  No doubt about that one.  I just don't want people going to this thing thinking they are going to get a good deal on a gun - that's all.

As far as losing thier marbles - many people do at gun auctions.  Even at estate auction sales where the money is not donated to any cause, most people go nutty when bidding on guns at an auction.

But in this case, it is a good thing.
