quick coyote question

took a quick look at the g&f website and didn't see what i was looking for. is there a certain rifle caliber that one is limited to if hunting coyotes after dark? should i leave the 270WSM at home?

I'm pretty sure you are not limited. Its a matter of knowing where your bullet is headed. Pretty basic hunter safety.

If uncertain of this while hunting at night, do us all a favor and use a pellet gun.

any legal weapon. I prefer my 12 gauge with #2 or BB's. get em about 10 yards out.

 the reason i ask, i had a buddy tell me that it had to be a .22cal or less. 22-250, 222, 223, 204, etc. just wondering.
