running around in the dust left from the birds is a blast and especially when the dust mask is alittle better than nothing   swinging around a net.  LOTS of fun  I quit 2 yrs ago  people didn't want to pay asking price so now they can see it is priceless to let someone else do it

i don't know about north dakota.  But i have a few guys that raise racing pigeons and i buy the birds that they cull out every year.  You should be able to google it and find a local racing club and get in contact with some of the guys.  They are usually more then happy to sell them usually they just ring their necks otherwise.

I retired from pigeon trapping so you will have to have frosty do it.  I no longer have a ladder that works or a net for pigoens

Not sure what marksman problem is but it's not difficult to go and get some pigeons.  By the way thanks for the wonderful PM mark.

Fowl, all you need is a buddy, a fishing net, flash light, and something to put the pigeons in after you catch them.  Take a drive out in the country and look for abandon grain bins with pigeons on them.  Ask for permission and go back out after dark.  Open the door and proceed to net the birds.  Also, use the flashlight to light up the hole in the top, confuses them and less get out.  If you find a bin that is plum full of birds you can do it during the day.  Doesn't take long to catch as many birds as you could use.  Just an idea for you.

Where are you at?  We have more than enough of them at minot milling here in minot if you can figure out how to catch them take all you can please.  Im guessing around 100-150 birds sit on top of the elevator and pooo everywhere, but its flat up there if you wanted to try neting.

Find an empty grain bin that has the top open.  Wait til night open side door and walk in.  Catch as many as you want.  Pigeons don't fly at night .  Use to do it all the time in the younger years... put them in friends mail boxes, or in the school.  Not the smartest thing, but funny.
